Therapeutic Properties of Moor
Therapeutic Properties of Moor revealed from research conducted throughout Europe over the past 50 years. :
Bio-Available (Easily absorbed by the body) The substances present are in colloidal and bivalent form, thus they are small enough to be easily absorbed by the system.
Antiseptic The moor contains lignin and bitumen, both of which contains high proportions of phenol substances and these acts as natural antiseptic
Detoxifying The high proportion of humic acid and other humus substances enables the moor to both draw and absorb toxic substances trapped in the tissues. Detoxification is widely recognized as an important component of health care maintenance and anti-aging.
Anti-Inflammatory Moor has consistently been found to exert an anti-inflammatory effect on irritated or inflamed tissues.
Ion-Exchanging The presence of humic acids also causes an exchange reaction in which harmful positive ions in the tissues are replaced by revitalizing negative ions present within the moor.
The Moor has been clinically tested and found to be naturally hypoallergenic and to be able to harmonize with and benefit any skin type, eliminating the need for many different types of creams.
MicroAlgae factor and Vitamin B
MicroAlgae factor is a unique concentration of natural active ingredients, extracted from the essence of MicroAlgae. It is an effective hydratng agent and helps in the strenghtening of the skin’s defence qualities as a barrier. It provides a deep moisturizing action.
MicroAlgae factor is also rich in Vitamins B1, B2, B12 and niacin derivatives. The derivatitves have been shown to improve the ability of the epidermis, the upper-most layer of the skin, to retain moisture.
One study reports that topical nicotinamide (a derivative of niacin), when applied to the skin for six days reveals softer, smoother skin with less dryness and flakiness, and a reduction of fine lines.
Even more promising is its anti-cancer influences. For instance, when applied to mouse skin, topical nicotinamide produced a 70 percent decrease in ultraviolet-induced skin cancer.
Niacinamide, another byproduct of vitamin B, serves as an effective skin-lightening agent. In one clinical investigation, patients with hyperpigmentation applied a moisturizer containing five percent niacinamide.
Four weeks later, computer analysis of the hyperpigmentation and skin color revealed a decrease in hyperpigmentation along with an increase in skin lightness.
Topical niacinamide also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it a potential treatment for acne, rosacea and any blistering-type disease.
